The Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development in Kogi State, Hon. Abanika Taiye, has actively participated as a discussant at the Renewed Hope Housing Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Summit held at the Shehu Musa Yaradua Centre, Abuja, on March 17, 2025.
The high-profile summit, which drew policymakers, investors, and professionals from across Nigeria’s housing and urban development sector, focused on the theme: “Leveraging Public-Private Partnerships for Housing Urban Development.”
As a notable discussant, Hon. Abanika Taiye shared valuable insights on the strategic role of PPPs in addressing Nigeria’s housing challenges, particularly highlighting the strides made by the Kogi State Government under the dynamic leadership of His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo. He emphasized the need for collaborative frameworks that attract private sector investment while ensuring the delivery of affordable and sustainable housing solutions for the people.
